Antique quality C1880 Victorian mahogany and olive leather deep buttoned chaise longue or sofa.

Rare and attractive....far better quality than most....lovely carved legs terminating in period brass and ceramic castors.

Very solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints. Good comfortable seat, with no nasty lumps and bumps. No woodworm.

Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.

The sofa has been very professionally upholstered in leather approximately 10 to 20 years ago. The deep button seat and arm is real leather under the arm and a couple of small panels on the back are artificial leather, but a near perfect colour and grain match.

Overall maximum dimensions:

198cmW x 68cmD x 77cmH (63cmH back rail and 38cmH seat when sat on).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture. The upholstery is not new, but only has only light wear/signs of use and no major marks. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. The castors have some wear as one would expect.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
