An excellent antique Victorian period writing table in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s.

It is of lovely quality, with a beautiful inset hand coloured and gold tooled leather writing surface. The legs and handles are beautifully turned, and this has a nicely finished back, so can be used as a free standing item. The proportions are very useful, it is not too deep from front to back, and this rolls on original brass casters.

We have just recently had this re-polished, it is in very good condition for its age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there under the polish, giving it plenty of character and charm.
