Victorian Mahogany Leather Desk Writing Table
Antique Victorian mahogany and leather desk or writing table.
This is a lovely piece, that is full of age, charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints and no significant woodworm.
The mahogany lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
The leather top is later, with some deliberate aging and patination.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 97cmW x 60cmD x 71cmH x 55.5cmH knee hole.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Period castors (not original), with some wear as is to be expected. Signs of restoration and repairs, in particular the bottom part of one rear leg has been replaced. We have no keys and the locks are untested (the lock from the LH drawer is missing).
