This attractive antique work table dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It is constructed primarily from solid mahogany. The work table has a small drop-leaf to either side of the top, each of which is supported on a pull-out wooden arm. Beneath the top are two small drawers, with matching faux drawer fronts at the other side. The table is supported on a four turned wooden legs. The drawers and drawer fronts retain turned lovely brass knob handles. The drawers also retain their locks, but please note that no key is present.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall faded. There is some marking and indentation to the top, and a small wood shrinkage split to the front edge. The legs are scuffed and one of the back legs shows signs of repair. The legs would probably originally have had castors, but these are no longer present. There is some scuffing and wear around the drawer fronts and no key is present for the locks.
