Victorian Mahogany Desk Office Elbow Chair Bar Back
Antique Victorian mahogany desk office elbow bar back chair.
Dates from the second half of the 19th Century.
Solid, heavy and strong with no loose joints.
Good new reupholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.
Overall maximum dimensions
57cmW x 55cmD x 86cmH (50cmH seat when sat on, 70cmH arms).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. There have been historic structural repairs (as one would expect), but all is strong and solid now. There are some historic extinct woodworm holes (mainly under the seat rails as is normal), that have been treated for good measure.
