Victorian Mahogany Breakfast Table victorian mahogany breakfast table %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A beautiful circa 1880 mahogany breakfast table. Featuring a large, oval, solid mahogany top and supported by a highly decorative turned and carved base. This table also features its original white porcelain and brass castors. As you can see, this item is in lovely condition for its age, with just a small amount of everyday wear and tear. It also features the original supporting pins and quality brass locking mechanism, enabling the table to tilt providing extra space in any room. As you can see, the square box section to the top of the stand has a small amount of old woodworm. This is not uncommon as these pieces of antique furniture were generally created using a fruitwood. This woodworm is well and truly dead, and has subsequently been re-treated by ourselves for added piece of mind.
