Antique quality Victorian C1860 leather button backed chesterfield sofa. A wonderful quality period piece. A very rare find.

Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. The sofa appears to have been reupholstered in a quality brown hide around 30 to 40 years ago and has a fantastic age and patina. All of the springs and wadding are in good order. Great turned legs with period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect, rear are period replacements)

Would look great in the right location! No woodworm.

Overall maximum dimensions: 215cmL x 90cmD x 65cmH (35cmH seat when sat on). Seat width between arms 152cm.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
