A magnificent antique Victorian Gothic Revival hanging corner cupboard in extensively carved oak with a single glazed panel door dating from circa 1880. In beautifully figured honey coloured quarter sawn oak each side features carved lions with brass rings above devils and cherubs and hairy paw feet to the base. The cornice features a gadrooned pelmet and the door has a lunette carved frieze. It has a working lock and key and 2 removable carved shelves to the interior. It is a hanging corner cabinet but could also be a standing corner cabinet as it is stable and stands up on its own. A really excellent example.

Good condition. Good colour and patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Working lock and key. Small scratches to glass in places.
