Antique large quality Victorian gilt full height arched wall mirror C1870.
A charming mirror, that is full of age and character. The frame has been historically repainted then touched up over the years. No woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions: 182cmH x 62cmW x 8cmD. Mirrored glass 173cmH x 45cmW.
The mirrored glass has light oxidation (plus a couple of small patches in the bottom corners, that actually look quite good) and other age related imperfections. A clear and sharp reflected image. There is a small patch of light scratching approximately 10cm square about half way up on the right hand side, which fits in with the age and nature of the mirror and is only really noticeable in certain lighting conditions.
In good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections, as is generally desirable with antique furniture. There is a piece missing from the top of the arch although it isn't too noticeable in normal use and the bottom plinth is later.
