Victorian Edwards & Roberts Ebonised & Burr Walnut Desk
A stunning Antique Edwards & Roberts Victorian Writing Desk, circa 1860 - 1880.
Edwards & Roberts are well known for their quality Antique antique furniture and this Beautiful Desk is a prime example.
Made entirely from Mahogany with Burr Walnut veneers added to the Drawer Fonts, front and side panels, with the remaining exposed Mahogany Ebonised to help fully showcase the Burr Walnut. As this covers all sides, the Desk if desired can be located centrally in a room.
We have sympathetically restored this Desk to a lovely condition, adding a new Leather Hide with Gold tooling, at the same time trying not to conceal its true age.
With four Drawers either side of the Knee hole and one central frieze Drawer with working lock and Key, there is ample storage space. The frieze Drawer also bears the official Edwards & Roberts stamp giving the buyer piece of mind that they will own a Desk of the highest quality.
This all sits on eight tapered legs with the original Brass Castors still intact.
This Desk will truly look Fabulous in your Home.
