An elegant antique Victorian ebonised and marquetry pier cabinet / bookcase with lockable single glazed door. With marquetry inlaid decoration, with gilt ormolu mounts to the top and bottom corners and brass trim around the top. It comes with a working lock and key and to the interior there are 2 shelves which are lined in pink velvet. Would work well as a music cabinet or as a bookcase. Dating from circa 1880.

Good condition – appears to have been recently restored. General wear and marks commensurate with age. A few old splits to top and sides. Locks and comes with key.
