Victorian Ebonised Canterbury Whatnot
A superb antique Victorian Canterbury whatnot in exotic burl wood and ebonised veneers dating from circa 1880. Boasting beautifully figured exotic burl wood veneers (probably Thuya or Amboyna), ebonised banding and gilt highlighted scratch carved details throughout. The base section features three dividers with turned supports over a single frieze drawer with elegant brass handles, above four turned feet with original brass castors with black ceramic wheels.
