This is a super Victorian cast and brass double bed that dates from around 1870. The bed has been beautifully restored and is in lovely clean condition with a good colour to the polished brass detail. The cast iron frame is in excellent order, repainted in a smart satin black finish. The original side irons are present and this has a new sturdy timber latt base so simply requires a standard double mattress.
A very smart bed ready for use.
The bed measures 154 cms high at the head and 123 cms high at the base and is 140 cms wide by 210 cms long.
