A very pretty Victorian mahogany carved torchere. This has always been a torchere and has not been made from a regency bed post. It has a nice dished round top. A reeded tapering column with carved leaves to the underside of the top. It stands on three well proportioned cabriole legs. Each legs has a floral carved knee terminating with a claw and ball foot.
