Victorian Carved Dark Oak Bench
A wonderful carved oak bench from the Victorian period, circa 1880. In a dark colour this is constructed to an exquisite high standard. The carving is extremely crisp with pronounced legs on paw feet.
This has been given a good wax polish to bring out the rich colour and patina in the timber. It is firm and sturdy and a fine example of a fantastic top of the range bench from this period.
