Antique Victorian carved beech and walnut chaise longue sofa settee.
Large and attractive....better than most.
No significant woodworm.
We are are unsure of the type(s) of wood used in this piece, although it is likely to be beech, walnut or a combination of both.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
The dusky green velour upholstery is not new, but it has very little wear and no major marks. We have not inspected concealed components, although the seat is soft (sprung) without any major lumps and bumps.
Overall maximum dimensions
182cmW x 70cmD x 77cmH (38cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Period castors with wear (as you would expect).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
