This Victorian campaign chest is made of teak. It has more brass edge straps that you would normally expect.
This was to protect the chest during the rigours of the tough travelling it was to make over land and sea.

These make wonderful conversation pieces as well as great coffee antique tables.

The chest is finished all the way around and so can be stood in the centre of a room as a coffee table as well as against a wall for great storage.
