A Victorian walnut cabriole leg dressing stool. This stool is slightly larger than the usual model and would serve equally well as a fireside stool, use as a coffee table or as a traditional dressing stool. The legs are well shaped with carving at the top and terminating in scroll feet, there is a moulding complete with a carved cartouche on all four sides of the seat. This stool is in excellent strong, robust condition. Date circa 1860. Sizes: 24”(61cms) wide, 24”(61cms) deep, 18 ½ “(47cms) high.
 I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
