A Pretty Victorian burr walnut inlaid two door side cabinet. This cabinet is a good size with the advantage of two doors for maximum access. Each door has inlaid quarter foil spandrels to the top with rope twist ormolu solid brass moulding cloaking the door joint with working lock and key.
Either side of the doors is an inlaid panel with fine ormolu mounts to the top and bottom. The cabinet sits on a burr walnut veneered plinth. Above the doors there is a further walnut marquetry inlaid panel finished off with ormolu beading. The top has beautiful burr walnut veneer. This is a very attractive cabinet of fantastic warm walnut colour, burr walnut veneers, marquetry inlay and well cast ormolu decoration. The inside has an attractive green finish with two shelves.
