A magnificent antique Victorian burr walnut ottoman or piano stool with upholstered top dating from circa 1870. In beautifully figured burr walnut with marquetry inlay throughout, it has a single panelled door which opens to reveal two removable shelves, ideal for sheet music or magazines etc. It is raised on turned feet and stands on its original attractive brass casters. Would make a wonderful ottoman, dressing table stool or music stool.

Good colour and patina. Some veneer missing to the base at the back and sides. Key does not work. Original horsehair upholstery which has been recently recovered.
