Description:
This is a fine quality antique English Victorian burr walnut & marble sideboard, ideal for use as a bookcase, cabinet or cupboard, displaying four stunning fretwork door panels, circa 1850, in excellent condition. Decorated with a floral carved & beaded frieze, there are four working doors below incorporating exquisitely carved fretwork panels, with upholstered material backing. The two central doors open to reveal a large storage area, with a single height adjustable shelf. This is flanked by single doors either side, each with twin height adjustable shelves. The doors retain their original working brass lever locks (with key). The sideboard is raised on its original bracket plinth.

This sideboard is in excellent condition, which is commensurate with its age. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips, crack or damage. The doors retain the original brass lever locks (with keys). The sideboard is raised on its original bracket plinth. The sideboard boasts its original polish and patination, which explains why it displays a stunning colour - this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The sideboard is well constructed, solid in joint with no loose movements and is ready to be used.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you be email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.

A free 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item.
