Circa 1870. A Victorian ash hoop-back Windsor chair. Shaped and curved top with turned spindles, the centre with a well-shaped pierced splat, two simple arms supported on bulbous turned uprights with further spindles. The shaped and scooped solid ash seat has great colour and patination. The chair stands on four turned splayed legs, untied by conforming turned stretchers.
