A magnificent antique Victorian Aesthetic movement ebonised and gilt highlighted stool. The carved ebonised and gilt frame with upholstered seat and standing on turned legs. It features an asymmetrical Anglo-Japanese influenced blind fretwork frieze on top of burr wood panels. Solid and sturdy it has been recently recovered. Dating from circa 1880.

Ebonised wood
Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy. Some breaks and missing sections to the blind fretwork frieze. Other wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered.
