Good quality William IV mahogany double sided reading table. The unusual mechanism allows the top to move sideways to sit over a bed or chair. The height is adjustable via a turned mahogany knob and the 2 reading slopes have book rests and angle adjustments. The base having hexagonal shaped column leading to a shaped platform with turned bun feet. The sliding top lends this table for other uses when not reading.
