Very Rare Doulton Lambeth Hannah Barlow Tea Caddy
A Fine and Rare Doulton Lambeth Tea Caddy by Both Hannah and Lucy Barlow. The cylindrical form canister is decorated by Hannah with a beautiful moorland scene of grazing sheep while Lucy's borders feature stiff leaves to the base and chevrons to the top rim with further lozenges to the top and bottom of the picture. What really brings this piece to life though is the delightful and very ornately engraved silver plate lid and collar (striking flowers and leaves). Measures 10 cm x 9 cm. Stamped with Doulton Lambeth and the date 1883. Incised artist marks for Hannah and Lucy Barlow along with design numbers 957 & 945.
