Very large framed painting of a château. Measuring 70″ x 61½”, a typical Loire valley scene of a turreted chateau beside a river with seven white swans swimming and lined with tall plane trees. Painted in a naive style in oil on canvas laid onto board. Presented in a simple moulded and gilded frame. With a short scratch through the canvas beside one of the swans and some minor surface marks. Otherwise good condition.
Dimensions: width 70″, height 61½”, depth 1½”. Please contact us for more images, delivery and shipping quotes.
