Impressively proportioned modern hand painted panel in the distinctive style of great Czech painter, illustrator and poster designer Alphonse Mucha, a primary figure in what became known as Art Nouveau. Unusual long narrow composition, over 6’6″ long, depicting a semi-nude female reclining on a bed and gazing into a twilight landscape whilst a huge moon rises above the horizon. Some minor surface wear and slight damage at the edges which could be easily masked by framing.
