A very large Early Victorian Mahogany Dining table. This table has good rounded corner and a massive amount of flexibility. It has twelve legs and two pull apart sections. The centre section can be used as a server table if required. Currently having been in our workshops for some repairs and now awaiting French polishing which is included in the price, it is now available to order. This table has three fixed leaves on the three sets of 4 legs and a further four leaves that can be fitted into the sections to extend. It has a super lipped edge and has a substantial width at 55 inches wide. Will seat 16 with considerable ease and we have a set of Balloon backs that could go with this table, would seat 18 if needed and 20 with two on the ends. A very rare table with a much finer leg than one would expect on a table of this size. A 7 leaf table and all that flexibility. The table would also take another two leaves and would then extend to around 15ft or 180 inches. We could make two buffet leaves in soft wood that could be fitted and used with a table cloth or subject to availability of timber make two further mahogany leaves. This may add a few hundred pounds but it would be difficult to find a table of that size under £10,000 we suggest. This extending table has been stripped off ready for French polishing and as such currently looks at its worst. At the current time the opportunity is available to arrange a finish to suit your own requirements. ......Please note our opening times if visiting.
