A very pretty little couch or settee from the early half of the 1900s. There were many of this type of couch at one time, but most seem to have found the scrap heap even though they have a far superior frame under the upholstery than anything available today at this sort of price. This example is a bit unusual in the shape and has the cushion seat which is not common at all in this style. This has just been reupholstered for a client who has now decided to move house. It is of course in excellent condition and has a superb shape and is ready to grace a new home.We also restored a superb pair of chairs which are a good seat size but do not take up much floor space as they dont have those massive arms so common now.
