This piece has been made to demonstrate the Seasonal Variations of the Hours of Daylight at any point on the Globe or Year, it has a world Globe and a lamp which represents the Sun

The Orrery was made by Grice & Young of Christchurch in Hampshire, it has a superbly smooth movement when it is being revolved to show a different face of the globe at each turn for the seasons
The Globe is 17” high, 21” wide and 25” long
