A very unusual Late Georgian country plate rack. The rack is made of a variety of country woods, ash, oak and elm and also mahogany and inlays. The rack is of a good desirable small proportion and completely original. The rack is so unusual as usually these racks are very plain this has veneers and inlays and a scroll pediment with applied brass bosses. The whole is in excellent condition and of a wonderful colour. C.1810
