Large and unusual Chinese yellow glaze jar/vase. Heavy crackle to the body and interior glaze. Interesting underglaze blue scrolling chrysanthemum pattern interior. Base glazed with Ge type crackle. Considered to be 19th century or earlier. Previously part of an old Scottish collection.
Condition: Two barely visible hairline cracks to the side wall, both with signs of restoration. Some original firing cracks to base and interior. Some general wear to lip rim and sides, commensurate with age.
