Circa 1820, Dutch burr walnut commode. The top in quarter mirror matched burr walnut veneers, with a wave front, a shaped, deep fore-edge and canted corners. A configuration of 4 drawers with cast brass engraved escutcheons and swan neck handles are flanked by a shaped section giving an impression of a buttress. The front legs continue down from the shaped foredge, over a shaped apron and shaped feet.

Size 77cm high x 89cm wide x 55cm deep.
