Two Nosegay Clarice Cliff Plates 1930 art deco ceramic %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Two Nosegay Clarice Cliff Plates. Two beautiful Art Deco plates from the famous designer. Oval in form with a light green border, the eye is drawn to the bottom of each plate where the colourful Nosegay flower is depicted. The cream body of each piece gives a suitable simple background which enhances the flower further. These would make splendid decorative items or would be ideal for summertime dining. The makers mark and the Newport stamp can be found to the base. One plate is slightly smaller than the other. The pieces are in good condition with only age related signs of wear.
