Here is a very good quality three piece walnut serpentine bergere cane suite, circa 1920.

Here is an excellent example of a very good quality post Edwardian three piece serpentine front antique bergere suite comprising two carver fireside armchairs and a matching two seater couch, circa 1920 – 1930. The suite is constructed of solid walnut. The suite features the original single panel cane work. The suite boasts a lovely curved shape from the back into the arms. The arms curve over and terminate in knuckle lion paws. The base of the suite descends into cabriole legged lion paw feet at the front and sabre legs to the rear. There is a shaped frieze to the underside of the base. The suite is fitted with lose cushions which are all in need of complete re-upholstering along with the spring base upholstery. The suite features the original sprung base. The narrow armchairs and two piece suite ensure that this suite will not consume too much space. The suite seats four people comfortably.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms from the living room to the conservatory. This item would certainly grace any home and are a great investment as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
