The iconic bentwood coat and hat stand by Thonet, the Austrian firm responsible for making the famous "Cafe Daum chair". This stand has the simple elegant curved lines that the Thonet designers adhered to, working with the strength of the bent wood techniques they invented. Made of beech with a natural wood finish, this stand is in very good condition. It has a paper label and also an incised stamp "THONET".
