Mid 19th.c. mahogany tall open bookshelves c.1860. Flared and crossbanded cornice over an open bookcase with five adjustable shelves of 10½” depth, providing over twenty feet of shelf space. Mahogany veneered front, sides and plinth. Applied carved corbels and floral detail. Some repairs to the veneers on the cornice, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Quite unusual to find an open bookcase of this height from this period.

Dimensions: width 48½”, depth 12″, height 78″.
