Here we have a beautiful George III Oak lowboy or side table c1800. As you can see the table has excellent colour and patina. The top is made from two planks of English Oak with lovely grain. There is a simple rounded edge to the top. There is a single drawer beneath with a scribe mark to the edge imitating cockbeading. The drawer has hand cut dovetails and retains the original handles. The table is of pegged mortice and tenon construction with the pegs slightly raised from the surface a clear age indicator. The legs are straight with a moulded decoration to the outside and an internal chamfer typical of the period. A beautiful period Georgian table in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 30 inches wide 28 high and 18 deep.
