Here have a truly outstanding and rare English Oak refectory dining table c1820. Everything about this table is fantastic not least the colour and patina. We have lots of antique tables through our showroom which are mostly French it is not very often we have an English one and this is one of the best we have ever had. There is a wonderful three plank heavy top with the most stunning grain and colour. The colour looks a little yellow under the downlights but is just a super Oak colour which has never been cut back or re polished. The base again is of fantastic colour and patina. There are three beautiful darwers to one side with original bun handles and faux cockbeaded edges. The legs are squared and tapered and the table is of pegged mortice and tenon construction throughout. The table will seat 8 and being English there is room down the middle of the table for food. A super table in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 185 cm long 90 cm deep and 78 cm high.
