A silky smooth sycamore spoon with a loop on the end of the handle which may well have been continued, carved as a short length of chain. The whole is beautifully carved and a joy to handle, the smooth patination makes for a welcome addition to your collection. The spoon is unlike any I have seen before, it feels Scandinavian in origin, but such craftsmanship has universal appeal.
