We are delighted to offer for sale this superb Watercolour Caricature of an ex-RAF Officer, which is, unfortunately, unsigned. It is dated 65, for 1965 and we have checked that the badge on the cap is the felt and gilt cap badge of an Officer during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Sadly, there is no indication of the name of the subject on the back or on the old frame, however, it does title the watercolour - Ex-RAF 'Type'.

The subject is still wearing clothing in RAF uniform colours and his old, much worn, cap and is smoking a pipe. He is sporting a luxuriant beard.

The watercolour has been double mounted in two-tone acid-free mountboard and is framed in a very nice 1 5/8 inch Walnut veneered frame, which suits it very well. It will be supplied with new brass hangers, new brass picture wire and will be ready to hang.
