This fine example of a Victorian table has a book matched quarter veneered top using the best tightly figured burr walnut. It has a subtle well carved edge of scrolling foliage with a cross grain frieze and moulded edge. The base has attractive carved cabriole legs which retain the original brass and white porcelain castors. The turned vase shaped column with carved decorative ovals and a square block top which houses the sash bolts and sprung catch allowing the top to be tilted if required. Condition- Excellent with original sash bolts, sprung catch and castors.
