A superbly preserved cylinder bureau of good provenance. Circa 1880. The marble top with a gilt gallery over a cylinder front, enclosing drawers & pigeonholes. Over a leather inset pull-out slide, the apron fitted with three short, over a long drawer, on cabriole supports. Complete with a cutting from an old catalogue. Ht 106, Wd 90, D 47 cms.
