A Superb Small George II period oak 'box' settle.c.1740. Fielded panel back and matching front panels to the base. Cross moulded surrounds. Pegged joints throughout. Lift up seat with the original iron forged hinges. Scroll arms and chamfered supports. Superb colour and patination. Measures 44"wide x 21"deep x 47"high, seat 18"high.
