Offered for sale is this exquisite set of eight Jacobean style oak dining chairs in excellent condition consisting of six single chairs and two carvers. The chairs are late Victorian dating to about 1890 and are one of the finest sets of this style I have seen. They have superb original patination with extensive turning and carving and have to be seen to be appreciated. They are of average width but very tall, 53" and 55" for the single and carver chairs respectively and would look exceptional in the right setting. The overstuffed seats were reupholstered in hide probably about 30 - 40 years ago, it is in good condition and has matured well. The set of eight antique oak chairs are of superior quality in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned and waxed..We specialise in antique dining suites trading from our own showroom in Wokingham, Berkshire .
