It is unusual to find a card table of such superb quality, and to find a pair is indeed rare. Dating from c.1830 these Regency card antique tables with gorgeous matched mahogany tops, stand on a platform base with a decorative collar with a twisted ring covering the quadruple base of the column. The craftsmanship shown by the cabinetmaker is second to none.

The tables retain their original baize, which is always a plus, and there has been some very minor restoration, mainly polishing.

The width of each table is 35.5" (91 cm), the height is 29" (73 cm) and the depth when closed is 17.75" (45 cm). When open, the tables are 91 cm square.
