A stunning and good quality large William IV figured mahogany round dining table. The beautifully figured top having a thumb moulded edge above a cross banded and cock beaded frieze. The table retains the original working brass sprung locking mechanism and brass & steel bolts allowing the top to be lifted vertically. The table features a round tapering pedestal with carved acanthus leaf collar leading to the triform platform base terminating on well carved lion’s paw feet with sunken brass casters. Dimensions:- Height…28.25’’/ 71.5’’cm. Width & Depth…56.75’’/ 144cm. Circumference…177’’/ 450cm. English circa 1835 and seats 7 comfortably, 8 at a push. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
