Superb Georgian Fiddleback Mahogany Pembroke Table
Wonderful Georgian Pembroke Table. The table is in wonderful country house condition. The legs stand on the original brass castors, with a nice slender tapered and spade feet. The legs are line inlaid with box and have a lozenge of satinwood inlaid at the top. The table has one true drawer and one faux drawer. The drawers have the original brass handles and have crossbanding in box and ebony. The top has gently rounded drop leaves and is crossbanded in kingwood on the edge of the top and the very edge of the table. The top is veneered in wonderfully grained fiddleback mahogany. The whole is in country house condition, it has an untouched glowing patina but does have the odd knock. C.1800
