A stunning French Empire large mahogany chiffonier or console table. The imposing castellated top having a large centre bevel edged mirror with applied square columns. The ormolu framed mahogany side panels with ormolu mounts of women in classical costume above the full width shelf supported on shaped brackets. Below are 3 bevel edged mirrors. The lower section having a polished top above 1 long and 2 short frieze drawers each having ormolu pulls.The 3 panelled back with further ormolu decoration with turned columns supporting the front which join to sledge base and turned feet. The whole in very good condition with very good ormolu mounts throughout. Dimensions:- Max Height…95’’/ 240cm. Width…67’’/ 170cm. Depth…21.5’’/ 54.5cm. Base Height…39.75’’/ 100cm.
