A stunning black lacquer ground Chinoiserie cabinet. The 2 shaped panelled doors having raised and gilded lacquer decoration with birds, flowering tree, flowers and a large pheasant. The stiles and door frames with chased metal fittings and pear drop handles. The doors open to a shelved interior having a large drawer with conforming decoration and metal handles. The inside of the doors with wonderful jardinieres with flowering plants. The sides with further raised decoration of mountains, flowering trees and butterflies, the whole raised on short shaped legs. Dimensions:- Height…57.25''/ 145.5cm. Width…31''/ 79cm.
